Appointments/Fees

Dr. Bailley works from a typical private practice fee schedule. Today, a psychologist in private practice faces the choice of working under contract for an insurance company and accepting whatever treatment conditions and limitations that company sets (i.e., HMO's), or working with clients who pay out of pocket. Due to difficulties in dealing with managed care companies and the drawbacks to consumers that managed care companies pose, Dr. Bailley does not participate in those HMO-type contracts. His fee schedule is consistent with the rates typically charged by licensed clinical psychologists, and he offers sliding scale fees to those clients who are able to demonstrate financial need. Fees for services are discussed with prospective clients in the initial telephone consultation before an appointment is scheduled, or during the initial consultation session in some circumstances. His standard fee for a one-hour therapy session is $125. Most often, therapy sessions are conducted once per week, although more or less frequent sessions are possible, depending on the needs and circumstances of his clients. When possible, he is most willing to assist his clients in gaining reimbursement from their insurance companies by providing relevant receipts and paperwork.
